Im having problems with my neighbors mule, the battery keeps dying, I just replaced the engine. Im getting 40volts (AC) from the stator between the two Gr/w Gr/w wires. If I disconnect the two green wires coming from I believe which is coming stator and disconnect the battery the vehicle still continues to run which baffles me. Am I checking the wrong wires? I ohmed the rectifier/regulator and I am getting .3 ohms which is the correct spec.
