Just bought a 2012 610 mule 4x4. Previous owner said the cables needed to be greased due to being hard to shift He said he'd disconnected the cables and everything shifted smoothly. I drove it around some last night and everything shifted smoothly although the levers felt a bit stiff, like the cables were dragging.

When I went to unload and drive it tonight, the transmission shifter took an extreme amount of force to get it to change gears. I did not have an opportunity to disconnect the cable and check the disconnected cable feel and trans shifter feel. The dif lock and 2x4/4x4 levers were stiff but not difficult to shift.

Any input?
