Default 07 610 4x4 mule: storm flooded carb fuel line questions

Morning,

new member here, family member has a 07 610 4x4 Mule that was flooded during hurricane storms and left in standing water for some time. West central Florida. Probably brackish water. Told by him most likely the carborator and fuel lines need to be cleared out and mabye replaced.
I called a local Kawasaki dealer and they said the labor for the carborator replacement is around .9 hours and the fuel lines .5. So maybe 2 1/2 hours tops if other issues found. They told me they do not see any replacement factory carburetor in any of their dealers nation wide which means discontinued. And they mentioned the replacements can be hit or miss. They did say I should attempt to have carb rebuilt and jets cleaned out first.
Any recommendations on quality replacement carberators for the 07 610 if I do indeed need new one?
anyone have recommendations on mechanic near Homosassa Crystal river? Dealer rate is $160.00 hour and would like to avoid that if possible. Unless they would be best for detecting and finding any other issues it may have over local mechanics shop.
thank you
