I've recently bought an ultra 150. It has small clear pipes above both hand grips. The seller described them as hand warmers but didn't know how they worked. They don't currently do anything and although I can find some pictures of other skis with them, there is no reference to what they are in the manuals I can find.

Can anyone enlighten me?
