stx 900 problems

stx 900 problems
ski runs good out of water,put ski in water will not run over 3800 rpm about 10mph, compresson at 115,getting fuel & spark,could i have a carb problem or vacuum leak[:@][sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Welcome to the forums guys....
guyzer3 ..... More often than not, it is a gummed up carb. Easy enough to clean, and if it does not fix, you are only out a couple of bucks and 2-3 hours labor. Gl man....
j wing..... I read your other post. And I have not the slightest clue. Maybe, a vaccuum leak? I wish I could help you more man....
