before i try and guess where to put the 750 cdi (brain box) i was wondering if someone can tell me where the best place is to mount the cdi, in the 1983 js 550 ...thanks

I mounted mine in the same area where the 550's goes. I just made some brackets and utilized the existing mounting configuration. The 750 electric box is bigger so favor the left side or you will have battery installation issues.
