98 750 STX Overfueling carb
Hey all. I'm new to this site and don't know alot about skis but my brother just bought this 98 750 STX and I took it to the lake to try it out and the longer we run it the harder it was to get it started.
It has the Keihin carbs. I took it to a good buddy of mine who knows a little more about rebuilding carbs than I do and when he started taking it apart he said the intake was full of fuel mix. He rebuilt both carbs and after running it he said the front carb seems fine but the rear carb is loading up real bad. He's tried to adjust the float to no avail and it's almost like it doesn't even have a needle and seat in it. He's taken the carb out 3 times and rechecked it and everything seems fine.
Is there anything we're missing here? Any suggestions?
