Hopefully, someone has an idea on this ignition problem.

So, I'm out on the lake tooling around and it starts losing power. Gets worse and worse and barely can get above idle. Checked it out and one plug isn't firing. Get it home and troubleshoot using the manual and coil tests bad. Tested the pickup coil and it was within specs. Replaced the coil with OEM Kawi unit. New plugs.

Ran good after replacement, after 2nd ride it craps out the same way again! Same cylinder!

Is there something up that I'm not catching? Can a brand new Kawi coil die so soon the exact same way??
