Hi, Im new to the forums but I was wondering if someone knew anything about this.

I have a ZZR 600 which is brand new and I went to go get gas for the first time. I only had the RES left in the bike. When I went to get gas I filled it fill but it only took 2.6 gallons.
When I read the manual it said the RES was 1.1 gallons and the rest of the tank was 3.7. Does anyone know why it would only let me fill to 2.6 gallons at the gas station?

 

Did you actually run the tank out and have to go to reserve? And did you "top off" the tank when you filled it? Just asking, I haven't had any problems with mine, but sometimes there is more gas in there than you think.

 

Yes I run the tank out and then went to the reserve.SO there should of been about a gallon when I went to the gas station. Then when I got the the gas station I did top it off and it only took 2.6 gallons. So I was really confused?

 

I'm not sure then, maybe he just wasn't very thirsty.

 

There is no way you'll ever be able to use every last drop of gas in your tank. Even when the reserve is gone, some gas will always remain.
