Okay, I know on the ZX6R you're supposed to remove the little plastic peices beside the seat, but there's 1 screw in there and the peice connected at the base of the seat is still screwed in and I can't figure how to get it off? Anyone please give me some help here, been trying all morning to get my drivers seat off.....The bike is, as mentioned above a 2006 ZX6R. Thanks in advance

 

I'm not sure if they are anything like the 10's but mine only has one bolt holding it down and then it slides out.

 

remove the screws off the front side of the plastic pieces

the rear section of that plastic piece is held on by plastic pins in rubber grommets. kinda angle the filler piece doen and pull it out. dont scratch anything. the lip on that plastic piece is held on by the seat. heres what it looks like underneath, you can see the grommet if you know where its at.


once the plastic pieces are off youll see 2 10mm bolts on each side of the seat. remove them and lift up on the seat and there you go.
