To boost the engine you would need stronger connecting rods, and low compression pistons. Not to mention a slew of other parts just to handle the HP.

 

Plus rumor has it that the case on the 10r will not tolerate anything over 500 ponies.

Not o get too off topic or offend and Kawasaki lovers... but there is a couple turbo Hayabusavideos floating around.. you should check it out... the dam speedo gets up just as fast as the tach side... its freakin insane.... just think... 0-100 in 4 seconds... hahaha

 

A turbo machine is great if you can hook up.

 

I was thinking about it for my 6 but was told it is extremely hard to do on these kinda bikes as they already have ram air and it isnt really worthwhile.

 

Yeah, it would be pretty crazy, but probably not worth the hassel.
