Hello all, new to the forums, just got a old KZ400 im trying to restore. Its missing alot of stuff, and im trying to find parts for it, but the problem im running into is that i cant find out what year it is. Ive checked a few websites and they show all this info on the vin number break downs but none of them match my vin or ...perhaps i dont understand how it works. Could you guys tell me what year this VIN matches. Its somewhere between 74 and 79 im pretty sure.
VIN is as follows: Engine ID : K4E070302 And the Frame ID: K4-054434.

I really need to know becuase the difference in the years is definitly critical for the electrical setup according the the manual i have. Thanks guys, Appraicate the help.
