Default What Should I Do?

My bike has been in the shop now going on 6 weeks. I had a few electrical problems and the last part i need is the voltage regulator but it could be a couple more weeks tillthe shopgets it in at $160. I have a 98 ZX9 and found a 2002 ZX6 which Kawasaki has the same part # for and only $40. How much of a risk am i taking going used, cause i would rather save $110 and get it here in 3 days max.......Thanks

Going with a used part has very little risk. I would do it. Just make sure the shop won't try charging you for their part anyway since they already ordered it.
