Default totally lost

I need help with a few things. how do you find out if a 2001 ninja zx6 not an r will accept the exhaust or any other parts off a similiar year ninja r. I am not a twin pipe fan and i would really like to put on some affordable sound. also Is it easier to do a wheelie with the rear soft or hard . i am ordering diff. gearing for my bike and need to know if there is some general rule of how much top end you lose with a certain number of teeth increase. I need my zx6 to stand up for longer. Im on a budget and cant afford new bike. I really would appreciate any help. new to this tuning thing.

thank you guys
