I used to ride a lot in the olden days........ 1979...... I got a ninja 250 last year..... didn't even know where the oil goes..... my older bike was a 2 stroke. I think I overheated it. ran out of oil...... bettery was dead, so I jumped it and let it run at 4,000 rpm. came back out about 15 mins later and it was not running..... the there was a fan running and antifreeze under it...... sure enough, coolant was apparently empty. I added water to search for the leak, and could find no leak. I found the raduiator, traced it to an overflow jug - then to a hose that seemed to be where the fluid came from. I bought oil, tried to start it and got nothing. no starter noise at all. horn works, tail light works, neutral light does not come on (bike rolls like it's in neutral)..... no headlight either.... although I never checked to see if the headlight comes on before the engine runs..... any ideas?
