strange tread wear...any ideas??
It would be great if someone could shed some light on what would cause wear patterns like this on my front tire...just a side note, when I purchased the tires the rear turned out to be defective...I'm just assuming that the front tire may also have been defective? The front tire pressure is set to 32 psi. There is and has always been a slight wobbling between 40-45mph. Stem bearing is tight...could it be that my forks are out of wack?
Thanks in advance

It's a bridgestone 120/70/17..sorry about the pic quality. It's not a flat spot, it's more like a raised area towards the center of the tire that goes almost all the way around except for about 12 inches or so that shows normal wear.
thanks
thanks
Thanks for pointing that out. I can see what you are talking about now. There is a gap of wear between the tread and the bump you are talking about in the center of the tire. Get rid of the tire. That is definitely not right.
Replace the Tire!! Has the tire been sitting for awhile in the weather? Could be the quality of the picture, but that's what we used to see happen when a tire hasn't been used and placed outside. If you don't mind Dunlop D208s, they are going of really cheap right now.
