Yesterday after my 09 250S had sat idle for 3 weeks but on battery tender I tried to start and got the tapping noise and no start. I put the tender back on and tried again. Same thing but then the dash shut off. I went for a ride on another bike.
Today I started trouble shooting, Battery shows 13.12 volts. All fuses good. but still nothing on at dash. Pulled the fuses againg and checked voltage at positive connector blades, and negative batt post, 13+ volts everywhere except ignition fuse connectors: 0V.
Next disconnected/reconnected relays next to fuse block tried key again an dash comes to life. But still only tapping. THEN I realized I had forgotten to replace he ignition fuse!
So with the ignition fuse in place I get nothing at the dash. With no fuse I get a live dash. Any ideas?
