hello I'm new to the motor cycle world I just obtained a 1981 ke100 enduro trying to fix it up I find the magnet on the flywheel is shattered not the whole thing though out of 3 sections half of a section is missing and seased the flywheel with the stator I cleaned it out and was wondering first if it will run like that second where I can find a cheap replacement I know they are expensife and third can I replace the broken magnet any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Go with a new assembly. I did a quick search on replacement parts and was unable to locate one right off the bat, so availability may be an issue as well.

 

what do you mean a new assembly like all new mags?if so do you know where I can find one I have need doing some reading online and found some people getting flat circular mags to fill in the spaces and using epoxies yo hold them in place ever hear of this techniques? maybe an easy fix or more problems in the future what are your thoughts

 

ok so I read about everything on this bike that Google knows and watched every movie on YouTube I learned alot but one question I know some years have the same. parts any one know what year bike match an 81 for parts I found a electrical system Comes with flywheel stator coil science thing and looks like all the wireing its for a 94 a d they want 120 something does that sound like a good price do you trust eBay if not who do you trust for parts

so I found a whole new set up off of a 94 ke100 says fits 82 to 01 I believe its the flywheel stator cdi coil and wireing for it all what are the chances that a 81 setup is different
