i acedentally let all the nirtogen out of the canister on my klx 300 and i didnt know why the shock lost all its compression dampening and in the process of fooling around with it and all that i probobly compressed the shock say 25 or 30 times and every yime the rebound stroke would make a gushing sound of the oil... did i ruin my oil in my shock? or can i just get my shock recharged and ittl be fine again...

 

I would find a shock rebuilder and get their opinion. If you only cycled the shock manually then there's a fair chance its ok.

it would prob be fine.....how many miles do you have on the bike?? I usually change my oil every season.

 

hahaha, don't let the N2 free, it is your friend. Charge it back up and you should still be ok.

 

thanks guys... i was talkin to a friend that deals with all kinda of shocks, he really knows his stuff and he said it should be fine so im gonna just go and get it recharged and hopefully ittl be fine the iol only had say 50 miles on it max so it wasnt very used.
