Exclamation problems with kicker

i have a 93 kaw kx250 and same year 125 and both of my kickers i guess you could say skip or jump if you try to kick them normal/hard if you kick it nice and slow or by hand they have plenty of comp. and will start but if you try to kick it over normal the kicker just goes up and down like theres nothing there anyone have a idea how that could be happening?

I am not sure either. Two rides with the same "glitch"? Is it rider technique issues? Good luck with this.

well i bought my 125 2 years ago and has done the skipping as i call it for the entire time i had it but its never givin me a problem in the woods i always get it on the first kick i got use to it and as far as the 250 i just got it about a week ago and it does the same thing but its alot worse it engages to far down to be in the woods on a hill trying to kick it i already ordered a new assembly complete without the actual kicker i was just wondering if anyone had a idea of why i might have the same problem with 2 of them but as far as breaking it myself i would of had to of done something along the lines of kick starting the bike and once it starts never letting the kicker back up i would never do anything like that i have over 10 years in riding 2 strokes and im only 22 so its like second nature for me to ride a bike and break them from riding hard but when i break something i have a pretty good idea of what went wrong in this case i didnt break it so i figured maybe someone might of had some info on what exactly i would need replaced but i went ahead and just bought the whole setup

right on, thanks for filling in the gaps. My CR480 and the MX400(maybe more in the 3'oclock area) kick on the powerstroke were about 2 o'clock. Sounds like the KX is super low in comparison. Let us know on the results.
