Default power loss when in gear

I have a 05' ZX636. My bike was running fine last night, then this mournig the FI light is on and wont turn off! when the bike is in neutral it runs fine, but when I put it in gear and let off the clutch there is no power.I can give it full throttle and it just slowly puts around. It sounds like it is trying to go but it takes a year just to get up to 20mph.

Check your air filter first and make sure there isn't anything restricting your intake in front. How many miles on the bike? Did you make any changes to the bike recently, i.e. pipe, PCIII etc? When did the problem start? Is it a California model? Try some RXP in your tank. You may have gotten bad gas or check your air filter. When was the last time you checked it? Also, if it's a Cali model, your catalytic converter may be clogged. You can take off your muffler at the connection under the bike and look inside the header.

Its your throttle bodies. Call the dealership and schedule a appointment. Kawasaki needs to issue a recall for them.

Maybe call the dealer and ask, or someone can add to this, but I think there is a auto fuel shut off if the bike goes down. I just remember reading something tlike that. Worth a quick call to the stealership to ask.
