Default petcock valve replacment

i am the owner of a 1994 ninja zx6-e which is basically an old zx6r.i need to replace the petcock valve because it is leaking.my question is how hard is it to do for a surface mechanical person and are there any big things i should know.

Welcome to KF, moved to gen tech.

Normally, a petcock is nothing but using basic tools, O rings and gaskets. You can do it! Good luck
