See part #92055A on the diagram above? That's your culprit. Gas started running from the petcock on my '01 ZRX like water from a faucet. Changed that little O-ring and the leak stopped.

I have ordered the Kawasaki Factory Manual from the dealer...it's not here yet and they are taking their sweet time shipping it...and then it will go to the local dealer... ugh Don't they know bikers don't have patience??? Jeez lads don't confuse the fella, lol.
if there are two pipes it usualy (but not always) means that there is a vacuum pipe, if it's got a prime swithch fuel runs free, on res or on it don't.
