got oil coming out of air filter and occational clouds of pure white smoke ( vn 900 )

 

Welcome to the forums, Cobb! I think your PCV valve is stuck open.
Seriously, do you have some kind of crankcase breather tube or something that is causing back pressure into your intake? I'm no expert on the vulcan setup.

asked around about pcv someone suggested removing air filter for a bit and this seems to have solved the problem will see what happens when i put new filter in fingers crossed

 

air suction valve and air switching valve checks?

What is the maintenance schedule on your VN?

not sure change oil , plugs , and filters regular. been riding with no air filter in for the last week seams to have stopped gushing oil at the moment.
