I sent this pm to patrick:

Hi bro,
Please check this thread because there is some idiot named Kaw Suck on it bashing Kawasaki. I am open to discussion but this guy is just being a jerk. Ban him if you can and delete his worthless thread.
I know on the R1forum when fools start acting up they get ousted.
Your call.

Thanks, Mike

He can always just join back under a new name but that would get boring after awhile.

So should i fork out the extra money to put the higher octane gas out front. Or is it cheaper to buy the octane booster and then but the 87 gas?

Im really not sure which would be cheaper at this point with gas prices so high. Basically you should go and price out how much it takes to fill your tank with 87 and add the price of a bottle of octane boost. The figure out the cost of filling your bike with 89 or 90 because thats what the booster will bring it up to roughly. I think its cheaper to run the 89 from the pump than to get the booster. Usually 89 is what 10 cents more per gallon. multiply by 4.5 gallons to fill and you get .45 cents versus $2.50 for a bottle of booster. In fact I think that you could get 93 or what ever the highest pump octane is and barely cost more than buying a bottle with 87. This kinda sucks cuz I never really sat down and thought about it and always bought the booster (dang it, all that money wasted, lol)

I just run 89 and it seems fine. Have to admit though at the track she gets 91.

BTW nice TA devestator

I use 93 all the time. I never used anything else in any of my bikes. For about a $1.25 to 1.50 extra a fill up, i dont see why not to use it.JMO
