Default New fairings, or redo them?

I just got my bike. and was fixing some of the past owners stuff that i did not like.
I had the upper and lower fairings off, and noticed they were worse for wear than i thought.

i did a quick google search and found this site. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...5-87.htm#price

The prices seem okay to me, but I'm a rookie. so what do i know.

Now i know, i would still need to get them preped and painted, but the others would need alot more work to get done(talking about 3-4 cracks and holes from being dropped.

Or just ride the F'n thing and shut up?

Another aspect, is i like the "looks" of the bike, and think i could make some money if i fixed it up nice and sold it when i wanted a newer bigger bike.

Congrats on the new ride.

The 86-87 600's are a good road bike but not really a high re-sale bike right now. Ride it and get comfy with your new ride. The airstream glass was top rated for a long time. Should be a good combo when you decide to prep and finish.

Generally aftermarket fairings lower the resale so I would use them as a last resort, but they still look nice so its a toss up. let us know what you decide and get some pics up
