every 3000 yes.

But let me propose another question...

What kind of oil do you use? Me personally, I won't use anything less than a full synthetic, especially using the cycle at a high engine speed for an extended period of time. currently running Repsol 4T 10W-50

I am with o56r. Depends on your ridding though. Mostly freeway 4k. Ridding like you stole it every 1500 to 2k.

I change at 3k and change filter. Some will change filter every other time. I've used Mobil 1 15w-50 for 45k of the 50k miles I have on my ZRX.

I change my oil every 2000-2500 miles. I use Motul 5100 semi synth. I used Silkolene once and hated it. My shifting was not smooth and the motor did not sound good. Went back to Motul and all was well again.

I use Bel Ray oil - don't remember the weight though, whatever the service manual recommended. I change the oil and filter every 3,000 km.

This is the 2nd oil change for me, and I have decided to go with Motul 15-50w full synthetic.
