Default need some help!!!

So i just got my new 09 zx10r about three weeks ago, and on the third day, i started to notice this zinging noise coming from the front end when the rpms got up to about 4000 and it continues to zing at high speeds, well i found out where it was coming from, its coming from the ignition. And if you put your hand on the ignition when it begans to zing it stops, its just annoying as all hell and i was wondering if anyone else has or had this problem, and what you did to stop it.

Every bike will vibrate, its the nature of the beast. Make sure everything is tightened down and properly secured, if you cant find anything loose you may have to modify it a bit to get it to stop. When I got my bike the previous owner had wraped the plastic cover on my key cylinder with electrical tape to keep it from moving, not the best fix, but it worked... If you can narrow down exactly what part is vibrating perhaps you can find a simple way to secure it. Good luck!

tape can fix anything! lol but i think if i can get some zip ties around the key cylinder to tighten the little plastic piece thats around it it'll be candy, cause im 99 percent sure thats where its coming from.

the 2nd gen models had the similar from the sounds of it. It was the two security bolts that were loose causing the noise of the ignition.
