Default Need help My kawasaki lokota 4wheeler is loose. ??

Ummm I need to know ihow to tighten my chain. Cus it had way to much play in it when I ride. Too looose. How do I titghten it? Should I take some links out of it?? I am clueless... Let me know something please. Thanks... I would like to get it fixed asap... Thankssssssssssssss...

hmm, what did your manual say? "X" amount of play and how to do it. Not playing the dick here but this will be covered in your manual. You get it too tight and not aligned will cause you nightmares also.

I dont have the manual. I tried looking it up online. But couldnt find it. I bought the 4wheeler from a outsider. My bikes are new withthe manuals. (thank god.. ) So, if any 1 has any insight here. Id love to hear it. Thanks.

I wish I could give you some info on that, but I've never owned a fourwheeler. I would imagine the whole axle can be moved forward or back to set the slack. That's only a guess.

when you loosen the pinch bolts on the back of the swing arm, you should be able to spin the carrier, the circled part that the axle runs through and that will tighten or loosen your chain.

no problem, i thought i had some pics that show a better idea of a honda style round housing carrier here but i dont. when you loosen it and spin it, make sure the carrier is seated against the swingarm housing and thats it. you really cant throw the chain allignment out a wack. if need be ill get some pics of my swing arm on my quad and itll be a better refrence.
