Need help on a bayou 220 2000 model?

Default Need help on a bayou 220 2000 model?

I just got a 2000 bayou 220 and The thing would only run if you wouldt not let off the throttle... so i decided to take the carburator off and clean it ( which it was really dirty) and now that i put the carbarator back on it only runs when i bridge over the cilenoid ( the push button doesnt work) and as soon as i let off the cilenoid it dies..... its getting gas i took the carbarator back off and it had gas in it...... please any help will be greatly appreciated..... please email me at bluebill12@aol.com or post on here

I am not familiar with the bayou. But are you referring to the starter solenoid that you are jumping? Sounds like you have two different issues happening/working on.

if it dies when the starter is disengaged then its not really running. I would guess you need a few adjustments on the carb to get her to run, and need to get the wiring fixed for the starter. Let us know how it goes.
