need a hand!!!
just picked up my '07 meanstreak, the flat black with red flames. can you wax a flat black bike? and is it normal for water to come out of the exhaust? it hasn't seen any rain and i haven't washed it yet, so there's not water in the pipes. even if there was some water in them from dealer prep, i've got 100 miles on it so far and i figure that would have blown any of that out. i read somewhere that the catylitic converter can create a moisture in the exhaust, is that true?
I'm not sure about waxing a flat paint job. I would call Kawasaki directly, or see if there is anything in your owners manual about cleaning your paint's finish.
Water is normal in exhaust systems especially in the first few minutes of start-up. The burnt exhaust gases still have moisture from theair that condenses in the still cold exhaust pipes. Also, if your bike is equipped with an catalytic converter, it will produce small amounts of water as a byproduct.

Wax is ok on flat black, it will help protect the finish just the same is if it were glossy.
btw I will move your post to the general tech section. No big deal and let us know what you think of the wax I think it gives it a deeper looking black!
