Disconnects?

What about that plastic cap that connects the 3 wires to the ground?

 

I don't think they all should be connected together...without actually being there to put hands on it's hard to give you an absolute answer...your best bet would be to go down Saturday and just have them look at it...see what needs to be done (maybe a simple fix for you to do) or they would have to do it...
