Default Mikuni TM 36 68 pumper carb

Hi!
Foundation two carb son eBay. Both have the same name and number and are told in text that they are pumper Carbs. The thing is that they look very different. Any thoughts about it?

You want the second one.
The first one is not a pumper.
This is the one to use on the KLX250

Hi dpippin!
I have a klx300r. So it's the pumper one that's the one to go for. Is that a bettet choice than to buy a dynojet kit for the original carb?

I have a KLX250S that has been modified to 300 with the KLX300 cylinder and piston and exhaust, so it's basically a 300 now.
I had rejetted the stock carburetor and it ran quite well.
Later I installed the pumper carb and it made a huge difference in performance.
So you can learn from others.
In my opinion don't waste your money on a dynojet kit. Get the TM 36-68 pumper carb.
It may require some jetting changes but there is lots of information with what to start with.

Here's a couple of links and do some searching for more information.

Be glad to share my jetting info if you need it.

Thanks dpippin!
I will consider a pumper carb instead of a dynojet kit. I'm now working on installing a road kit and will soon be out on the gravel roads and in the forest.
