Default lady with z1000 problems

Well I bought a z1000 and at about oh...mile 250 some old lady really wanted into my lane and she pushed me into the curb. So I went down and it hurt but my bike was hurt more...The dents and scrapes I can deal with, but my generator cover (left side of course) was trashed and when i got a new one to replace it I saw that the bottom most bolt hole on the BLOCK was cracked completely off...

what do I do? Do I need a whole new engine...I didnt even have insurance yet, so this sucks....

No mamm, you can tap it out, get a drill bit and carefully drill a small hole in the center of the broken off bolt, next get a set of left hand drill bits, go one size up from the orignal drill bit and slowly back it out, the only other way it to, drill and tap the hole

Ill get a picture since words arent coming ascross right...I gotta go to my friends going away party right now though...but ill describe it a bit more till i can post a picture.

the crach is in the block itself, theyre are 4 or five bolt holes around the generator that the cover bolts on to. The bottom most bolt flange? i guess....cracked all the way around and fell the heck off...

A friend of mine tried to jp? jd? weld it...and it looks like crap now, and it leaks mad oil...i feel like im gonna cry.

I mean i ruined a 8 grand bike already! who would ever buy it from me like that!

sigh...well i gotta go, ill post pics of the mess tonight.
