Default KZ1000 LTD Wheels Tubeless?

My 1977 KZ1000 LTD is ready for tires again and I was wondering if the mags will support running tubless tires? The LTD (for you youngsters out there) was the first factory Kawi with mags and I believe they were supplied by Morris. The bike came with Goodyears running tubes, but I would like to run without if possible.

Greetings.....on Oct 3 2010 after having tubeless Dunlop (unknown to me at the time) new tires put on both of my period mag wheels...in a down hill left hand turn traveling about 45 mph....The bead on the front tire on my 75 Z1B let go and put me right into the pavement.
After much sliding and rolling my right ankle had the cartlidge detached inside the ankle and shoulder was injured also. Great helmet, jacket, boots, and gloves saved me...Parts Unlimited said it was my rim(which has been always holding air since 75) that was at fault. They put tube in tire after that and gave it back to me. has not lost any appreciable air pressure since then...Dunlop says to put tube in tubless tire unless there is a factory bulletin saying something to the contrary....Please do not omit tubes from those tires as I have been riding since the early seventies...I knew exactly what had happened as soon as it happened..People on the scene watched me crawl over to the front wheel to look at it.......Always get mechanic's receipts showing you EXACTLY what is on bike...READ it...It may save your life...Almost lost mine...Yes I still ride..have 10 bikes...please watch everything when it comes to tires!!! Hope this scares you..It was meant to...thank you....

Wow Johnnie, that's one hell of a story. And a heck of a post resurrection. Excellent advise though, it seems. Good to hear you made it out alive and are still riding.
