So I raised my bike on a lift and forgot to put the kickstand up, when I lowered it(hydraulic) it dropped and the spring flew off. Anyone know how I can put this back on?
It's an 09 vulcan 500. thanks

 

Keep the lever in the relaxed or up position. Plus or minus so that you can place the top of the spring in place, I use an exhaust spring puller and then place the bottom hook. Below is a parts fiche of what you are asking about.
