Default Kawasaki Mule 4000 Front hub shaft too long?

First of all thank you for allowing me to join your Forum I hope you can shine some light on this problem, I have a Mule 4000 2020 model and I noticed a clicking noise from front hubs when turning. I removed front wheels and found that although hub nuts were tight I could pull and push the front brake drums approximately 1/4 "
I removed hub nut and found that the shaft splines were actually protruding out past the drum centre as if either the shaft was too long or there was a spacer missing not allowing the nut and washer to secure the drum to the shaft correctly. The Mule has done 500 hrs and I have had the Mule since new from the factory, the hubs have never been removed so I am actually wondering what is going on. Any advice would help. Thank you,
Ian

Welcome to kf
I am not a Mule expert.
Hit up your maintenance manual. In which you have seemed to have done already apparently.

Sounds like your bearings took a dump.
