Okay i have a kawaski 650cc straight axle 2006 atv and it has this wiered noise in the engine like something spinning and hitting metal and shuts off if i put it to idle. i put so much money at mechanic shops they did nothing please help me.

Weird noise could be anything not sure if I can help you. Was it still driving when you heard the noise? What kind of transmission is it?

Hit up your parts fiche. I have a HD that was doing the same thing because of a weak kick starter spring. I know, not related, but just throwing stuff out there to try and get things moving. good luck

I have my Manuel but not sure what to look for exactly.

 

wish I could help more. is the starter motor working ok? but you mentioned when the motor was out of gear and idling that it was quiet. (I am not familiar with autos) How does the oil look? A lot of metal?

 

oil is perfect replaced that filter and belt. Do you know any good places around boston,ma mechanics good place or some place
