I'm ashamed to admit, I've never actually used a torque wrench on a clutch job. To me, it's like "feeling" the end play adjustment on car-truck wheel bearings.
Hack, I would suggest maybe a quarter turn past snug; something around 18-20 ft lb probably?

Is this his first clutch job? No offense (really), it's not a technical operation. He should be able to get a feel for the torque amount when he removes the center bolt and the release bolts. The important thing is to soak your new fiber plates in the oil you're going to use, for about an hour or so, to make sure they are evenly saturated. Double check the order of the clutch "stack" to make sure you get it right on re-assembly.
I own an H1....not a huge deal.
