have taken dyno cover off my zxr636 03 plate and bike has drained of oil is oil meant to be in dyno cover?

I'm no expert on the 636, but the slippery stuff is supposed to stay between the (engine) case covers and lubricate the moving parts that make the engine go "bang," I think. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the term "dyno." (?) Tell us more...
