Default Help!!!

I need help in 2 areas.I have a 96 Vulcan 750 15K original,I crank and go about 5 -8 miles and get "gurgle" you know the sound ---sweet and then a miss---and then uhrrrrrrnnnnnnn ---and you are on the side of the road, checking the kill switch----checking the choke----checking your collar ,cause you know you are turning red with embaressment. After about 5 minutes and a heckuva drain on the battery ,it starts and I go back home and park it.Have drained the tank and put fresh fuel in(my schedule dont allow a lot of road time, not to mention the weather).Am thinking the fuel tap/filter.I have the book and am thinking it would be a darn sight easier to replace ,instead of cleaning.Anyone know an approximate cost??I know it will vary(So.Cal. Need not reply),maybe down here in Gods country??

Second area, forgot my password and got a new one ,something like 27 digits, tried changing it and it keeps failing ????????am being case sensitive, any help mods?????

Great choice of words on the collar issue.

Am not sure at the moment. Floats would have killed ya before 5 miles. I am thinking battery/electrical connections at the moment.
