Default Havint trouble starting my bike.

I've got a Kawi 99 ZX-6R. I just got it out of winter storage and am pumped to start riding again.
Heres where my problem is. When I try to start my bike, it just keep trying to start, but it just wont roll over. And the days when I can start it, if I happen to go anywheres such as the store, I wont be able to start it again.
Rolling it down a hill and popping the clutch works, but I can't do this every single time.
Could it be that A) My bike has been flooded once too many times so the carbs are dirty , B) My plugs are in need of a changing, or C) both A and B
???
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Jbelang

Are you twisting the throttle while you crank the engine over?

Yes and no. Previous owner said to do it slightly.
I've tested both, and twisting usually doesnt make much a difference.

Wait, lets start over. Is the engine turning over? Or is it just clicking?

Yep, the engine is rolling over, It just wont fire.
I just went out for a test ride to get the engine warmed up because it only seems to not start after the engine is warmed up. Got back to my house, killed the engine, tried it, it started. Ok...thats a good sign. I go in my house for 5 min, come back out to try it again, and all I get is "ru ru ru ru ru ru ru ru ru.".....nothing.

Hmmmmm that sounds a little like maybe a fuel leak that's flooding the bike as it sits. Or you might have an intermittent spark. I was ready to steer you to the end of all hard starts thread. That one had to do with leaving the bike for a few days or weeks and then having trouble starting. I figured out that one, but it doesn't sound like this is the problem. Sorry.

When you roll on the throttle while trying to start the bike, you're likely flooding your engine. It doesn't take much to flood out your engine either, so be careful.

Does it show any signs of running lean at idle? if you rev it up and let it go back to idle does it return to 1300 rpm smoothy without any backfiring.

I have had similar problems.... bike is now in the shop.. It started with me getting gas or something and when i try to turn her back on I will just not light up...then i let it rest and its ready to go.;..it got worse and I could not even push it so i towed it to the shop and am now dealing with a new set of issues...check out my other post they pertain to this
