Angry got riped off watchout

hi i got ripped off buy piratemotorsports.com , i bought a RACE cam set which included 2 cams springs gaskets ect , i have a 2004 zx6r and they sent me the stock cams , i have had them checked out and ive been ripped off, it has cost me quit a bit of money to get to this stage with the engin out of the bike . i have emailed them quite a few times and just excuses came back now they have blocked me , can any one help??
here is the last email

hi Craig
I had another talk to my mechanic and the research he has done on the part numbers that you sent me are stock parts as he said the part numbers that are in a stock bike are
49118
49118A
that is the parts that are on the package that you sent me which are stock parts,
you didn't send
49118-0006
49118-0007
those numbers should be on the package,
someone has just picked up stock cams off the shelf instead of race cams,
the numbers that I have got on the package doesn't match up with what your saying?
don't know why you wont believe me , do I have to take photos of the package to prove it to you,
will you then send me the correct cams??

here is a email that they sent

Contacted my dealer and varied the parts and part numbers.

Kit numbers are 49118-0006 Int cam-comp
49118-0007 Ex cam-comp

stock numbers are 49118-0003 Int cam-comp RR
49118-1226 Int cam-comp 636
49118-1227 Ex cam-comp

We check the original order tag as well as with there competition dept.

To verify the cam they said it should be cast into the cam 161 IN and 161 EX.

I can sure you have the kit parts.

Craig

Stegg, sorry to hear. If what you're saying is accurate, you might want to go to your State's Attorney General website and file a consumer complaint against the company. I've done this before in Ohio with an out-of state company, and actually gotten results and money back! Make sure you have facts and dates and communication correct.
Welcome to the forums. Let us know how it works out.
Gear up; stay safe.

The numbers should be on the package. Offer to send it back for the correctly labeled product. Especially since you have had the numbers verified to be incorrect. No biggey, send it back and request for the correctly labeled product. I am digging for a correctly labeled race intake I have in the tool box right now for an example. Good luck on the communication and customer satisfaction. I would have expected a better communication/explaination on how you could verify your product other than what you gave us from the vendor. Look for the stampings and take pics. cya man

this is a little info that my mechanic email to me
thanks for the reply guys

zx636
zx6rr

intake lift
7.8
8.8

exhaust lift
7
7.2

Both your original cams and the new cams have the same lift as for standard ZX636 cams, part #’s (intake) 49118 and (exhaust) 49118A.

The zx6rr cams lift (8.8 intake and 7.2 exhaust) is shown at the bottom if page 10 of the racing kit manual attached.

The parts supplied are standard ZX636 cams, not ZX6RR cams, or race kit cams.

I would just send it back and request that the properly labeled product be sent in exchange for what you have that has no label or the incorrect label. Don't sit on your hands with this. Get er Done! Good luck

Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable This could also mean that their mail box was full. I wouldn't take it as being blocked. Try to send another email to them. I am not familiar with piratemotorsports.com but it sure doesn't look like by their web site that they dealwith metric bikes. Have you tried calling them and talking it out?? Here's their number. 307-786-4101. Just keep it civil and remember to keep notes of times and dates you contacted them in case you do decide to take legal action. Also make sure you have a certified mechanic from Kawasaki look at these cams in case it goes to court.

I think it's called "customer service." If Stegg has communicated to them that there's an issue, and then they snub him and essentially shut him off, I guess I feel they've thrown the glove down. Businesses cannot afford to ignore customers if they are serious about what they do; especially in this economy. I'm not suggesting Stegg needs to "go rogue" and do a drive-by, but THEY need to know he's not a chump.

Is this the web site? Er,...Kawasaki race cams from THESE GUYS?
