Default Exhaust, swiching cans?

Sup bros,
I have a 95 zx-7 track bike that has been down and the muzzy, bike has full muzzy system, can has taken a pretty hard hit. Still works but looks like hell. So my question is what if I replace the muzzy can with a spare Akrapovic can? Will it mess up the tuning or cause any other adverse condition?
It looks worse up close.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the Akro will bolt up to the Muzzy mid-pipe. If you would put a different Muzzy can, say a meg type, you would have to change the mid-pipe. I think you will need to get an Akro mid-pipe and see if it will fit the Muzzy header. I guess you won't know until you try.

I here you bro. I have the mid pipe so maybe it will work. The bike is getting new springs and valving and I have wait to see if the pipe will fit. Probably just order new Muzzy can though. I hate the wait.[:@]
