Default Exhaust leak or Factory?

Ok, I am aware this is my own repost from the 250 section, but I need more replies than what I got in that sub-forum.

Okay, so I had a little runin withthe curb and went flying into the grass about a week and a half ago. Repairs to the paint job and fairing cracks are underway, but after running it to keep the gas in the carbs fresh I notice air blowing over my foot as i'm standing there warming her up. I've never worn open toed shoes while warming her up nor have I stood on the right side (impact side) while warming so I would not know whether this is normal operation or not. My guess is no.

Things I noticed:

Scrape and dent on right side muffler that does not go through the pipe
Above mentioned gas emission is from the underside, scrape is on the side
Emission comes from a hole drilled by the factory
symmetrical hole on the left muffler does not emit gas that I can tell

Therefore, I have a favor to ask of the 250 Ninja owners here and that is to see if you have exhaust comin out of your right hand muffler. The hole I'm referring to will be where the muffler meets the pipe on the underside. I will post pics at the end of this post. Any help will be appreciated!

The exhaust scoring around the hole is identical to the scoring on the other side (although difficult to see on left due to centerstand bracket welded into it.)

both pics are the same muffler, in different flash settings.
