My 02' Zx6r went down and the left side stator cover broke off. Im not sure if i need to replace the stator or just the cover. The stator is a little banged up and the wire is a little torn. can i just patch the wire up with some electric tape or is it best if replace the whole thing. please take a look at the pictures and give me some suggestions. im not sure how to install either, is it a simple replacement?

looks like it took some damge as well. You could always just try the cover and see if it works?
