Crazy Idea?
I want to hook up a cigarette lighter to my battery so I can charge my phone considering the only charge I have for it is a cigarette lighter. Is this just a crazy idea or would it actually work?

Actually if you just cut the plug off and then you can hard wire it to a positve(ignition) and a ground that way you will not have to put a cig lighter on you bike. They do it to radar detectors all the time. Hope this helps.

or how about this...it is a little pricey but Marsee makes a bag that will connect all your gizmos...and they distribute mounts by techno mount for gadget too. I just saw this stuff yesterday it is pretty cool.

yes asu, this will work, i did this to my buddys gixxer for the same purpose, do it clean and it kicks ***, hack a cig plug in there and it looks like ***.
