Default Chain links question

Hi everyone! This is my first post, about a technical issue.

When we say that our bike uses a 110-link chain what exactly do we count? A, B or C??

Nice to find you all here!! Thank you!

technicly the actual "link" isB, both black tabs with the rollers C - when dealing with chains I usually consider a link to bethe BC assembly with the two gold tabs A attached. I do thisbecause number ofA and the number of B will be the same, and because you can't close the chain without the A component being there.

if its on the bike then you can count B or A - they will be the same.

if its off the bike andnot attached at the ends then make sure if it starts with a B it ends with an A, if so then count either one.(if it doesn't then it probably uses one of the special master links that don't require a chain break to attach)

hope that helps.
