Default Brake lever (need pic)

Ok, so I'm washing the bike, and trying to figure out which number on the brake lever is most comfortable, when OFF pops a washer!!! So I start looking at it, and the whole number dial thing comes off!!!

Can somebody snap a pic of the underside of their brake lever so I can see what nut I might be missing?? Or do I have to buy another new brake lever??

Find your bike on this and you should be able to see the nut.

Nope, it just shows the little dial, but none of the parts that hold it on. It's all showing how the lever is connected, but no details about the little dial.

It's not bolted on. It's like a rivet. Take your lever off and you will see how it is attached. You might be able to get the washer back on and them hammer on the flange to make it stay or....

you can pm me your address. I will send you a lever. It's the same lever part # as my '01 ZRX 1200R. I put black levers on a long time ago and still have the stock ones in my garage.

Kevin, you're exactly right. I had just replaced mine about four months ago after I dropped the bike in an intersection and broke it off. So this one is only about four months old and I haven't dropped the bike since. Grrr, that just makes me mad that it came off like that, because I tried setting the dial back in the lever, and it won't hold it's place on anything except setting four. Any chance I could send it back and have it repaired? (like a warranty or something?)

Crap. Ok, well since I know I can't fix it . . . first, can I ride with the lever that doesn't have the dial or is that unsafe? And Kevin, how much do you want for one? I really only need the end lever, because the bracket is still ok, but I understand if you don't wanna take it apart. Let me know.

Thanks.
