well lately my ninja zx-6r only starts in nuetral, and if the bike is in nuetral and the clutch is engaged it wont start either... so long story short the bike only starts when the bike is in nuetral and no clutch is on....

i dont even know where to start

 

neutral safty switch, sensor on the clutch lever loose, what years your bike ?

 

its a 2000........ sry to post the thread without searching...... i found another thread exactly like this one.... and i went and checked out the bike. it is the little button that is released when the clutch is pulled, its sticking......... sry guys........ i hate when newbies do this on my forums and now i do it....... i really apologize for being a dumbass

 

well, since you put yourself in place, i wont have to. stick areound and do some reading, youll learn a bunch of stuff about your ride and how to post ***** and break things and fix them. yeah im out later, glad its fixed and welcome to the forums.

haha i couldnt find the thread, but mine was the little button (sensor right behind the clutch)

its supposed to be released when the clutch is in, but mine wouldnt come all the way out
